Brazilian designer Joao Maraschin presented his latest collection “ Road Trip” SS2025 on the 6th August 2024 at Copenhagen fashion week and delivered quite the show. Gathered through a year of travel and explorations, he his newest collection embodies the a journey of personal and creative growth.
"My brand has always been a personal exercise of my creativity, evolving as I grow as a designer and as a person. It is a living organism. Many things have happened in the last year that set me on the road to travel. Ilove travelling by car, and that inspired me to create 'ROAD TRIP."
The show takes place in a skatepark, reflecting the seamless and relaxed approach to creating visuals. The styling blends swimwear with tailored pieces and pairs sneakers with chunky knits.
His collection showcased a variety of textures and style elements like macrame, prints, crochet and recycled fish wire.
The color palette varies from blue to his signature off-white, green, blue, orange and red.
The garments came in a variety of shapes and styles from cozy hoodies to high end elegant evening gowns.
